Outcomes

Advanced Career Advisor Training Module

Strengthen your ability to ground career advising in research-based theory. This course prepares you to guide students through both the lifelong process of career development and critical decision points such as selecting majors, programs of study, or occupations.

You’ll leave prepared to:

  • Assess student career readiness and developmental stage

  • Help students articulate and strengthen their self-concept

  • Use Holland codes to focus exploration and reduce overwhelm

  • Organize advising materials, workshops, and career events around clear theoretical frameworks
